Here is one of us core drilling a 3 1/2" hole in a curb near Raleigh, NC.
As you can see we used our truck tire like a roof jack to hole the core drill rig in place as we drilled the hole.
Below we are using a 3 1/2" core drill bit (with an extension) to drill through the concrete footer under the brick wall.
Core Drilling involves many support tools. It is neccessary to have a core drill wrench usually 1 3/8" in size, and a plumbers pipe wrench to change your core drill bit or for removal.
